Return from Tippcon

While Tippcon Aftermath goes through the actually tournament, this post is going to be more about my army and how it/I performed. I basically took the painted models I had from the Indy open, and added 100 points of upgrades and called it a day. It's not the list I wanted to run, but with out knowing the missions until a few days before hand or how the terrain was, it was my safest bet.

Tyranid List ideas

I've been going back and forth on some lists for my tyranids. I've been doing decent enough with them at the past few tournaments, but since Chaos got updated, I've been struggling a bit more. My one hive tyrant has been letting me down, so I've been thinking about taking two. If I do that though, I'd have to give up the ymgarl stealers, which have been doing very well for me. I'm not completely sold on mawlocs yet either. I'm trying to decide soon, so I can start painting this up for tournaments and the escalation league.
So here are some of my ideas. Right now looking at 1850, but possible 1750-2000 modifications.

My first Tau list


So it is my last day in Germany, and I have secured myself some internet for the time being. I have some things I need to upload, but those will wait till I get back home. I have been reading over the Tau codex, and I have thought about what I want to use.

For the Bloomington tournament this coming weekend I've been thinking of possible lists. They are running the event at 1850.

First Idea is T6 spam

Ard Boyz option 2

I need to be less of a think-tank, and get more practice games in.

I had another idea for a possible Ard boyz list. I was toying around with the idea of a HQ tervigon for a smaller point list. I had orginally been against the idea of a Tervigon as an HQ, the only role in my mind for this Trooper-pooper is to fill a troop slot with six T6 wounds. But if one is a troop choice, and the second is Hq, then I have a very large troop potential for 400pts.
